I LOVE weddings!
I love this one especially! :) I mean, if A and I were still planning our wedding this'll definitely be on top of our pegs list :D
Narra Hill |
It's one that is light, white, breezy...absolutely a delight to see and be a part of. Something that isn't yet on Pinterest, but surely is Pinterest-worthy. :) I guess that's the secret to having an out of town / Tagaytay wedding...you just go do it on a very sunny early morning. Haha, I'm laughing because of course, this was the total opposite of ours --> night time and storms we braved...yikes! But fun memories too, nonetheless :) (I mean, looking way back! If you asked me back then you'd probably hear a different answer)
I've known the couple through my husband because he was college classmates with the bride Joan. ..Who, incidentally is also a friend to my brother's girlfriend V (their couturier). Small world after all :)
I don't have much church (Chapel on the Hill) pictures because "bawal" haha but I guess everybody there would agree that you could really feel the love. Oh and laughter too, after the priest gave away the couple's secret which for a decade (?!), was truly unknown to most of their family and friends. But let's focus on the love....when you see how Geh looks at Joan and her looking back at him, it feels like we too are looking through rose-colored glasses. Segue that to their first dance to La Vie En Rose...one of my absolute faves too, though I know not its lyrics nor the entire meaning. Yup, I should look that up!
The reception venue at Narra Hill is also so breath-taking. We actually spent Christmas 2017 here (watch our video) so we're quite familiar with the place. But for those going here for the first time, be forewarned that the road leading to it (and actually inside too) are quite steep so advise the designated driver accordingly. Anyway, the reception hall itself is quite the looker and it lets in generous sunshine. We enjoyed our Bag of Beans salad and mushroom soup in the car and we also partook in the cocktails and pica-pica.
Usually too this is the time of day that I'd be too sleepy. But no, not this afternoon! You see the program host was RJ Ledesma and it was such an explosive afternoon. Why? Ang daming pasabog ng senior citizens!! Hahaha I promise! It's like they were saying, "this is how it's done, kiddos!" :p Rated SPG to the 100th power Hahahaha..but it's all good! :) Let's just say, these senior couples were really so game to re-enact their first kiss, and their lambingan styles!
Of course, I also highly recommend the band they booked as well as their wedding coordinator. Their coordinators wowed me so much that even if I was just a guest, I really had to go to them to tell them what a great job they have been doing :)
Anyway, we closed the evening with more errands in Tagaytay, had our dinner fill and went home.
Congratulations & best wishes, Geh & Joan! :)
