Hmmm...what can I say about this? This is a group of family/friends who have known each other for the past 10-20 years but have just been recently formed/organized/named as the Coffee Club in 2018. I feel like an 'honorary member' to this coffee club mainly because I have yet to find kindred tea-loving friends hahaha :D Errr...also since it seems that I'm the only 'pure' Pinoy here.

As with most adult friendships, we meet mostly on a whim or on extremely short notices (biglaan) or just by chance. So the planning for this dinner get together actually took a couple of weeks before we finalized everything. Is it going to be dinner? Is it going to be coffee after dinner? This or that place? You know, 'adulting' decisions to make.
The great thing about this night is that the club is complete. Well, somewhat...since our kids were not feeling well so they weren't in attendance.
The other great thing is --- definitely the food!! Top of my list would be the Dolsot Bibimbap, Tteokbokki (we got the mild spicy so next time we'll level up on the heat), the Beef soup (I forgot the name), and of course...the grilled beef with cheese dip. Heaven!!
I guess I had too much to eat so really thankful I brought a cuppa green tea to aid in digestion. Or at least to ease feeling too full.
Much thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Ang for suggesting the place and for making the reservations. You guys are the best! :)
Kids and 'older kids' alike enjoyed the night because of good food, adequate space for play, parking and great friends.
P.S. We also (as a group), decided to forego Christmas exchange gifts. As they say, the best present is your presence. Yay too for our goal of eliminating unnecessary stuff :)
